[ALDERMEN:881] Special Called City Council Meeting at Noon 9-16-2010

NOTICE:

Please take notice that there will be a special called city council meeting at Noon tomorrow (September 16, 2010). The purpose this meeting is to pass a resolution allowing the Airport Commission to receive $103,000 grant for repairs at the Airport. The commission recently received a letter dated September 14, 2010 and requiring that the application be submitted by September 17, 2010. On today, I was presented with the application for signature by me and the city attorney. The packet requires that a resolution be submitted from the city council approving this transaction. I learned of this today.

Our Airport Commission needs our help. I hope that at least six council members can and will make the meeting and pass the resolution.
